Are your nappies absorbent?

They’re SUPER absorbent! (You shouldn’t have to choose between eco-friendly and quality/performance. We’ve created the best of both worlds).

The anti-leakage guard provides up to 310mls of absorbency and quick liquid absorption traps moisture so your baby stays dry and rash free. Plus, the wetness indicator tells you when it’s time to change.

Do your nappies have a Wetness Indicator?

Of course! The Wetness Indicator is a yellow line on the nappy that changes to blue when your little koala needs changing.

How does the Wetness Indicator work?

The Wetness Indicator is a yellow line on the nappy that changes to blue when it’s wet.

Do your nappies have prints on them?

No, they’re plain white with a yellow Wetness Indicator.

No prints, no ink, no dyes.

No toxins or nasty chemicals.

No: chlorine, alcohol, perfumes, latex, PVC, TBT, antioxidants, phthalates or preservatives.

Why did you choose to make your nappies from bamboo?

For SO many reasons! Here’s 6:1) Bamboo is a highly sustainable, fast-growing and naturally renewable tree-like grass that doesn’t need pesticide or herbicide and requires very little water to grow.

2)It’s the fastest growing grass, and can grow up to 119 cm in 24 hours!

3) It doesn’t require replanting after harvesting due to its vast root network.

4)It’s amazingly soft & comfy (perfect for your baby’s delicate skin).

5) It has antimicrobial properties which allows our nappies to contain no chemicalnasties or skin irritating ‘enhancers’ such as Chlorine, Latex, PVC, TBT,  Perfume, Lotions or Phthalates.

6) It has natural Antibacterial qualities as well as being Hypoallergenic.

We’re proud to be an FSC certified company. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)certification covers the sustainable management of bamboo plantations.

What will my baby’s bum sit on?

Your little koala’s bum will be protected by bamboo fiber and preservative-free aloe Vera gel.

How/why do your nappies prevent nappy rash?

Our nappies are made predominantly from bamboo. Bamboo contains antimicrobial properties which allows our nappies to contain no chemical nasties or skin irritating ‘enhancers’ such as Chlorine, Latex, PVC, TBT,  Perfume, Lotions and Phthalates. Our hypoallergenic nappies have been dermatologically tested for sensitive skin and also have no prints, no ink, and no dyes.

Where are your nappies made?

Our Eco Nappies are made in a fantastic ethical and environmentally-certified factory in China that we are proud to work with. (Their certifications include OEKO-TEX®, FSC + more).China has the largest bamboo plantation area in the world. Our desire has always been to manufacture our nappies in Australia but unfortunately the commercial bamboo industry (plantations, equipment and manufacturing technology) is still in early stages, so for a small business looking to make a complex, plant-based Eco Nappy like ours, it's just not yet feasible.

(We do however employ all of our people in Australia, from marketing to logistics, packing, shipping and customer service...even the cardboard boxes are local!)

We hope things will change in the future and wholeheartedly look forward to being part of the development of this industry, locally.

Are your nappies vegan?

Yes! They're as vegan as a strong almond latte, and we wouldn’t have itany other way.

How does your 100% satisfaction guarantee work?

If you and your little koala are not COMPLETELY happy with the nappies you purchased, we’ll either refund every cent you’ve paid or send you a different size – whichever option you prefer. (We'll even send you a Return Shipping Label, so you’re not out of pocket for any postage).

What is the best size for my baby?

Our sizes are based on the weight and age of your baby.We recommend focusing on the weight guide as all bubs grow and develop atdifferent times.

Our sizes are:

Infant(Small): 3–8kg’s, 0–6 months.

Crawler(Medium): 6–11kg’s, 4 months – 1 year

Toddler(Large): 9–14kg’s, 9 months – 2 years

Walker(Extra Large): 12–18kg’s, 18+ months

What is your smallest size?

Infant Nappies (Small) are our smallest size, and they’re generally suitable for little koalas starting from 4 weeks old. If your newborn is 3kg+, you can of course try them straight away, however, if they don't feel snug enough, we'd recommend trying them again a few weeks down the track.

(The reason we recommend 4 weeks+ and not newborn is because bubs' legs tend to 'fill out' a bit more within the first couple of months, which makes the nappies fit better).

What is your largest size?

Walker Nappies (Extra Large) are our largest size, and they’re generally suitable for little koalas between 12–18kg’s. Unfortunately we don’t sell pull ups/nappy pants…yet!

Do you sell nappies for newborns?
